The Cooking School Prep Assistant is responsible for assisting food preparation, service, and clean-up during classes and special events. Specific responsibilities include:

• Prepare food as instructed by either the Chef or Cooking School Manager 
• Provide table service to guests during the course of event   
• Keep Cooking School clean and follow serv safe procedures
• Conduct food demonstrations under the direction of the cooking school staff
• Provide Cooking School guests with an outstanding service during classes and special events

This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with the following skills and experience:

• Positive, upbeat, energetic manner with previous retail or sales experience a plus
• Strong food preparation skills
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., stand several hours a day, and climb ladders
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, on a regular basis
• Computer literacy strongly preferred
