The Cafe Assistant Manager is responsible for working with the Cafe Manager to provide effective and efficient operations of the Cafe cons istent with providing exceptional guest services and meeting sales goals set forth by Stonewall Kitchen. This position acts as a manager of the café in the bsence of the Cafe Manager. Specific responsibilities include:

• Models a customer first attitude, delivers exceptional customer service and supervises staff to ensure they do the same and assists where needed at times of high traffic
• Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately to staff in implementing company programs to execute action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives
• Demonstrates knowledge and leadership skills to promote a positive team environment by maintaining on going training andcoaching of staff with regards to, but not limited to, product knowledge, exceptional guest services, safety guidelines and proper sanitation and food handling procedures
• Provide daily reviews of Café environment to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement in order to provide the Café
• Maintains and models a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and motivates and coaches staff to operate at the same level

Additional Responsibilities can Include:

• 1-2 years retail or restaurant experience with at least 1 yr. supervisory experience with ability to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office preferred)
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., stand several hours a day, and climb ladders
