The Line Cook is responsible for day-to-day cooking operations in the Cafe Kitchen, in coordination with the Cafe Manager. Specific responsibilities include:
- Prepare daily specials and food for case items, in coordination with the Cafe Manager
- Responsible for line cooking in an open kitchen
- Ensure kitchen is maintained to company cleanliness and visual standards
- Assist in ordering and rotation, and monthly inventory
- Assist with special events as needed
- Assist Cafe Manager with operational activities (i.e., ordering, receiving, opening and closing, inventory)
This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills and be computer literate
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, no nights necessary
- Must be creative, flexible and adaptable to change
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs
