Chilewich Placemats

This modern design, Kyoto is a jacquard design inspired by a subtle classic motif found in Japanese Kimono textiles. Each placemat is reversible revealing a dusty coloration on one side, with the other side offering a clear, focused color. These vinyl placemats are from Chilewich, made by NY designer Sandy Chilewich in the USA.

The Engineered Squares design offers a gentle gradation of tones that moves over a grid of 12 squares and is the most geometric of all the Chilewich designs.
