Traditional New England Cocktail Sauce
The best New England Cocktail Sauce comes from Maine, of course.
We like classic food here in New England and one of our all time favorite recipes is for traditional cocktail sauce. The snap of flavor comes from horseradish, a little lemon and just the right seasonings.
Ingredients:
Ketchup (tomato concentrate, distilled vinegar,high fructose corn syrup, salt, spice), Chili Sauce (tomatoes, corn syrup, vinegar, salt, onion powder, dextrose, spices, natural flavoring, garlic powder), Horseradish (vinegar, salt, soy oil, natural flavoring), Worcestershire Sauce (vinegar, molasses, corn syrup, water, salt, caramel color, sugar, spices, anchovies (fish), tamarind, natural flavor), Pepper Sauce (cayenne red peppers, vinegar, salt, natural flavoring, garlic), Lemon Juice
Serve with seafood. This sauce makes the perfect complement for chilled shrimp. Mix some in your favorite Bloody Mary recipe for a twist of great flavor.
Just the right amount of ingredients to serve with shrimp!
