Ingredients:
Directions: Season 3 - 4 pounds chicken pieces with salt and pepper.Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large heavy straight sided saut‚ pan over medium-high heat until it simmers. Add chicken pieces in small batches and cook until browned on all sides. Remove all but 2 tablespoons of fat. Return chicken to pan and add one jar of Cacciatore Sauce. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 30 minutes. Remove lid and simmer an additional 15 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta. Serves 4-6.

I used to make my own years ago. Stonewall stole my heart & taste buds with the Cacciatore Simmering Sauce! Simmered chicken breasts served over pasta was far above my expectations! The only problem is they do not have it locally now. So thank you for online shopping! This is the best!
