This lovely dried flower wreath is handcrafted with salal leaves, caspia in green and yellow, lavender, sinuato in purple and white, lavender larkspar and hydrangea. It will brighten up anyone's home and day and makes a wonderful hostess gift.
I had to wait for this Garden Jubilee wreath as it is shipped directly from the vendor & it takes about 2 weeks longer to receive. However, it came today...the Friday before Mother's Day. Exquisite. Worth the wait. It is very well done with next to no loose parts in the box. The purple flowers are not as bright as in the internet picture. At first I thought I might go to a craft store & add some brighter purples. However, all the flowers & colors compliment one another. The overall look is Victorian, subtle, soft, delicate, very garden-like; a small piece of an outside garden. Just looking at it quiets my soul. A piece of nature in my home. Meditate on the beauty of nature. I LOVE fresh bouquets of flowers but they last only a week or so & then are gone. For about the same price, I can have this wreath for quite a few years. The materials are dried original plants so there is an expiration on the length this wreath will last. However, the real dried flowers, leaves, stems, etc. give this wreath REALITY. BTW, it must be hung inside, away from heat, direct sunlight, & moisture. When I go to local craft shows, some very high class, I look for handmade wreaths of natural botanicals. I have yet to find one to match this one in terms of color choice, texture choice, fullness, placement of "plant materials," etc. In other words, a person with a real sense of artistry put this wreath together. My compliments to the Mexican who made this wreath! This is my first wreath from Stonewall Kitchen & I know it will not be my last. Having seen this one myself, I would not hesitate to send one of these wreaths to someone else for whatever occasion. Just lovely. I like also that it is just 18 inches. My home is smaller. Some wreaths are just too large. Highly recommended for purchase.
