Baked Apples with Orange Cranberry Marmalade
ingredients
6 McIntosh or Cortland Apples
1 jar Stonewall Kitchen Orange Cranberry Marmalade
1 can pan spray
1 pint heavy cream
Confectioners’ sugar, to taste
1 oz. grand marnier liquor
1 bunch fresh mint
directions
Wash apples in cold running water
Core apples
Place a teaspoon of Stonewall Kitchen Orange Cranberry Marmalade in center of each apple
Place in a shallow roasting pan with a little bit of water
Cover pan with foil
Bake in a 350 degree oven until fork tender
In separate stainless steel bowl, whip heavy cream and season with sugar and grand Marnier until stiff peaks are formed
Place a spoon full of whip cream in bottom of serving dish
Remove apples from oven, place an apple on a pillow of whipped cream
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint
