Apple Cheddar Crisp with Orange Cranberry Marmalade Topping
A sweet and tart treat for any time of the year.
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- Place all filling ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
- Prepare topping by placing all dry ingredients in a bowl, including shredded cheese. Then add butter, cutting it in with a pastry blender or two knives. When well blended and crumbly, sprinkle topping on the apples and bake in a 350 degree F. oven for 45 minutes.
- Serve warm, topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
