With our products loaded into a rented van, we pulled into a city we had never been to and by year three we were regulars at the National Association of the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) annual Specialty Food Show in New York City.

Stonewall Kitchen - Specialty Food Industry Top Honors

NASFT – The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade is a non-profit association for the specialty food trade; organized to foster trade, commerce and interest in the specialty food industry. Annual NASFT awards presented at the International Fancy Food Show in New York City are highly regarded, notable achievements in the specialty food industry. Every other year SIAL showcases 5,700 exhibitors from 106 countries, representing 19 product sectors in a five-day international food products trade show. SIAL is regarded as the top global marketplace for new and innovative specialty food products and ideas, attended by 1356,381 visitors from 200 countries.

Of 985 products presented by exhibitors to the Trends & Innovations committee, 400 products from 41 countries are selected by a professional jury for the coveted 15 Trends & Innovations "Grands Prix" awards.

Stonewall Kitchen, the only US company selected, has been nominated twice for three products by the jury of Trends and Innovations at SIAL for a chance at the Grands Prix Award. This is the first international award the company has been nominated for. Stonewall Kitchen's products were chosen from more than 800 products from dozens of countries.
