These two ideas couldn’t be more different but each is simple and beautiful.

Bedazzled Gifts

For those of us who like a little sparkle under the tree, this gift wrapping is a fun way to add some glitz! Take a peek in old jewelry box and see if you spy an old baubles or trinkets that you can use. Or, visit the local craft store and you will find aisles full of shiny trinkets that you can use on these packages. Then purchase wrapping paper and ribbon that coordinate with this style. Look for metallics or jeweled tone papers and ribbons that add a little shimmer or shine. Simply wrap the gifts and string one of your baubles through the ribbon as you finish tying the bow and voila! A gorgeous bejeweled look to brighten up any Christmas morning!

Brown Paper Wrapping

Keeping gift wrapping in a single style and color scheme adds a touch of charm to any holiday decorating. For this classic look we used one roll of craft paper, white ribbon and instead of tags for identifying gifts, we first cut out large circles of red construction paper. Then, using the computer, we made smaller circles with a decorative edge and inserted the initial of each of our gift recipients. How easy is that?! Simply tape or glue the circles on top of the package and they are ready to place under the tree.
