Planning Coordinator

This position focuses on the repurchase of resale (foods and hard goods) items, primarily dealing with the placing, tracking, and necessary follow-up on purchase orders placed by the buyers of Stonewall Kitchen. This position supports the Merchandise team by being the primary point of contact between the vendors’ shipping departments, Stonewall Kitchen’s Distribution Center, and the Merchandising team.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Facilitate the placing and tracking of purchase orders, updating receipt dates as necessary
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the vendor, Stonewall Kitchen Distribution Center, and Merchandising Team
  • Provide back-up support for the Item Documentation Specialist
  • Responsible for the vendor compliance process, both updating the documentation in the vendor compliance guide and ensuring that vendors receive and abide by Stonewall Kitchen’s guidelines (responsible for charge-backs and RTV’s as necessary)
  • Liaison for Merchandising and the Stonewall Kitchen Distribution Center as relates to resale items

Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Associate’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills required (especially Microsoft Office Excel)
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to work in an ever-changing environment and make appropriate adjustments
  • Must be able to climb stairs to reach work space and the ability to sit for long periods of time
