Summer 2010 Product Launch for Stonewall Kitchen

York, Maine — Leading specialty food manufacturer Stonewall Kitchen, headquartered in York, Maine, has recently released the list of new products being presented to the market this summer. The nationally recognized manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution company has been owned and operated by founders Jim Stott and Jonathan King since 1991. As one of the most awarded companies in the industry, Stonewall Kitchen is known for its innovative product development, beautiful packaging, extraordinary retail spaces and exceptional customer service.

New in the jam category for Stonewall Kitchen are Boysenberry Jam (boysenberries are a cross between a raspberry and a blackberry) and a deeply flavored Blood Orange Marmalade. Two decadently delicious dessert sauces, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Sauce and Dark Chocolate Toffee Sauce have been added to their extensive list of sweet toppings. Cranberry Ginger Dressing and Cranberry Pomegranate Chutney feature healthy cranberries as a main ingredient. The Korean Barbecue Sauce allows home cooks to make Asian style ribs and other oriental cuisine just as delicious as their favorite restaurant. The Butternut Pasta Sauce is a rich squash based sauce enhanced with apples and brown sugar that is wonderful on pasta.

New to the baking mix category are easy to bake mixes for Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate Peppermint Crinkle Cookies, Pumpkin Scones with Maple Glaze, Orange Cranberry Scones with Orange Glaze, Granola Pancake & Waffle Mix and a mix to make a flavorful, rustic Rosemary Parmesan Olive Quick Bread.

One of the most well received introductions has been the launch of six mixes to make appetizer cheeseballs. With these creative mixes, party-ready "retro style" cheese-balls can be made in minutes. Spices and herbs have been perfectly blended to add to cream cheese to create delicious sweet and savory cheeseballs. To serve with these cheeseball appetizers Stonewall Kitchen has created a new cracker; Olive Oil Crackers, delicious, hand-cut and crisp, they are a wonderful all-purpose snack. To add to the party, Stonewall Kitchen's latest additions to their drink mix line include a classic Mojito and Margarita Mixer and a sophisticated Pomegranate Cosmo Mixer.

Additionally Stonewall Kitchen will be offering their annual collection of gifts in festive holiday packaging designed by in house artist Kiele Orlosk and Melissa Lyford, graphic designers for Stonewall Kitchen and additions to their Fine Homekeeping Line, Black Pepper and French Juniper scents.
