Stonewall Kitchen wins Gold in Outstanding Baked Good, Baking Ingredient, or Cereal at 2012 sofi Awards

York, Maine — On June, 18, 2012, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, award winning specialty food manufacturer Stonewall Kitchen won Outstanding Baked Good, Baking Ingredient, or Cereal at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade’s (NASFT) annual Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation (sofi) Awards. The winners were announced at a red carpet ceremony featuring noted Chef José Andrés.

Recognized for its Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Mix, this is the 15th sofi Award Stonewall Kitchen has earned. In conjunction with the competition, the company also participated as an exhibitor at the NASFT’s annual Summer Fancy Food Show.

“We are thrilled to earn the Gold Award for our Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut Mix,” said Janine Somers, Director of Marketing. “Participating in the Summer Fancy Food Show is one of our favorite events of the year as we love sharing our passion for food with industry colleagues and guests.”
