Balsamic Vinegar Reduction

Drizzle over strawberries, use as a dipping sauce for hard or soft cheeses and fruit, use in vinaigrettes, or drizzle over baked chicken, fish, pork or beef.



  1. Mix vinegar and sugar together in a small saucepan.
  2. Simmer over low heat for approximately 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature for syrup texture.
