Balsamic Vinegar Reduction



  1. Mix vinegar and sugar together in a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for approximately 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature for syrup texture.


  1. Drizzle over strawberries
  2. Dipping sauce for hard or soft cheeses and fruit
  3. Use in vinaigrettes
  4. Drizzle over baked chicken, fish, pork or beef
