Lisa Christine Summerville

Chef, da Rosario Organics with Chef Gary Mongero, Executive Chef, Kitchen Chicks Catering, Kennebunk, ME

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Lisa Christine Summerville grew up cooking in the kitchen with her Mother, Aunt, and Grandmother - and her Italian heritage produced many happy childhood memories.

As the proud "Foodie" with America's Test Kitchen recipes in partnership with Shaw's Supermarkets, Lisa has tickled taste buds with 30 minute recipes in the local North Shore community. She has also studied pasta making and French sauces at The Cambridge Culinary School for the Arts. Her appreciation for cooking, together with her desire for travel, has allowed travel to the wine regions in the Loire Valley of France, Cape Town and Stellenbosch, South Africa, and last fall in Monteggabione, Umbria, Italy where she studied specialty cooking with saffron and truffles at Casa Rondini Agriturismo under Chef Franco.

Lisa will be partnering with Chef Gary Mongero, Executive Chef, for Kitchen Chicks Catering in Kennebunk, Maine. Gary brings over 32 years of experience in the food industry and has fond memories of his Italian grandfather who owned a restaurant in the quaint upstate New York town on the Amawalk Reservoir as well as his Italian grandmother getting up at 5am to make the raviolis from scratch. He was always exposed to good food of the era which inspired him to learn more. Graduating from the New York Restaurant School with high honors in 1991, Gary's career has brought excitement and experience from owning an American Bistro on the Hudson, a deli, and a restaurant in North Carolina that boasted southern BBQ.

Together, Gary and Lisa's talent will bring dazzle to the table - fun and flavors are guaranteed!
