Raspberry Squares


  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups quick oats
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup almonds, fine chop
  • 12 Tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup Stonewall Kitchen Seedless Raspberry Jam
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x9-inch square pan.
  2. Mix flour, oats, sugars, baking soda, almond extract, salt and nuts together in a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle attachment.
  3. Add butter and beat 2 minutes until crumbs form.
  4. Press 2/3 of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven.
  5. Spread jam over crust, sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting into bars.
