Witch Finger Cookies


  • 1 box of Stonewall Kitchen Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 2-3 dozen almond slices, toasted*


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Make the Stonewall Kitchen Sugar Cookie Mix according to directions on the package.
  3. Pinch off a piece of dough (approximately 1 Tbsp.) and roll on a floured surface to form a 3-inch by 1/2 inch log. Shape a finger by pinching one end to form a fingertip and then two knuckles along the log.
  4. Using a toothpick make several lines in the dough along each knuckle.
  5. Insert a toasted almond slice for the fingernail.
  6. Bake cookies on an un-greased cookie sheet for about 15 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
