About This Chef...

Sally Pasley Vargas is the author of The Tao of Cooking and Food For Friends (Ten Speed Press.) Sally acquired her cooking and pastry skills working in a restaurant for many years and apprenticing at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She is a freelance writer and photographer who also teaches cooking, blogs often, and contributes regularly to the Boston Globe. She is a member of the International Associaton of Culinary Professionals and a graduate of Vassar College.
