His awards include: Food&Wines Top 10 New Chefs, Esquire magazine’s Top 100 Restaurants, Rising Star and Regional Chef Series from the James Beard Foundation, Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals from New Orleans Wine & Food Experience and Best New Chef of New Orleans Mumms Cuvée Napa. Chef Fennelly has appeared on The Great Chefs PBS Series and numerous Food Network programs. He has written a cookbook, East Meets Southwest, and is also an accomplished artist having recently opened The Michael Fennelly Gallery in York, Maine.
