Executive Chef, Restaurant Owner


An Oklahoma native and daughter of a hard working farmer, executive chef and restaurant owner, Shannon Bard knows and appreciates food. Learning the craft of making vibrantly flavored meals from scratch by her mother and grandmother in the family kitchen, Shannon went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio, Texas. With a focus on creating authentic seasonally influenced Mexican dishes, Shannon teamed up with her husband Tom and long-time friend, Sergio Ramos to open two successful restaurants, Zapoteca Restaurante Y Tequileria in Portland, Maine and Mixteca Taqueria Y Cantina in Durham, NH.
