About This Chef...

With a genuine passion for cooking, Stephanie Cmar began working in the food industry when she was just 15 years old at the Muffin Shop in Marblehead, MA. Confident with a direction for her life, Stephanie graduated in 2007 from Johnson & Wales University and returned to Boston to begin her career at the Top of the Hub restaurant. From there, she went to work with Barbara Lynch Gruppo as a line cook at B&G Oysters where she was quickly promoted to sous chef. Stephanie continued to further her fine dining skills at restaurants, Stir and No. 9 Park. Most recently, Stephanie appeared on this season of Bravo Channel’s Emmy and James Beard Award-winning series, Top Chef.
