Born and raised in the small town of Springfield, Vermont, chef Justin discovered his passion for cooking in his senior year of high school, when he was randomly placed in a culinary arts program. Fifteen years later, he’s never once looked back. Graduating in 2001 from the Atlantic Culinary Academy (Le Cordon Bleu Program), Justin went on to work in several fine dining restaurants across New England that included the historic Hartness House Inn in Springfield, Vermont, The Carriage House Restaurant in Rye, New Hampshire and most notably, his current position as executive chef of Mombo Restaurant in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His creative and artistic talents have attracted a strong local following and plenty of media attention. Justin was also recently voted #4 Best Chef on the Seacoast
in the 2013 “Best of Taste” survey.
