Since 1925 Le Creuset has produced cookware pieces of innovative design and exceptional quality. Today's cast iron pieces are still produced in the original foundry in Fresnoy-Le-Grand, France. Two sand molds are created for each molten iron piece and then destroyed after use, so no two pieces are alike. Pieces pass through 15 craftsman's hands for polishing, finishing, two coats of enamel spraying, two firings and final inspections.
This meticulous attention to detail produces cookware unlike any other. Le Creuset pots evenly conduct and retain heat; perfect for slow cooking. Heavy- duty lids create a solid seal to retain heat and moisture and cast-iron handles are integrated into the pot.
These French Ovens are ideal for cooking soups, sauces, stews, and so much more.
