Satisfy any wish for holiday treats with our Chocolate Peppermint Cupcakes. This mix makes it easy-to-make fantastic tasting cupcakes. Bits of candied peppermint dance around decadent peppermint frosting atop a rich chocolate cupcake.
Granulated Sugar, ConfectionerÂs Sugar, Bleached Wheat Flour, Brown Sugar, Cocoa (processed with Alkali), Peppermint Candy (Corn syrup, sugar, coconut oil, natural colors, peppermint oil, soy lecithin), Buttermilk, Sour Cream, Natural Flavors, Baking Soda, Sea Salt, Monocalcium Phosphate.
Directions for cupcakes:
Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Line muffin tin with paper liners. In bowl of an electric mixer, cream softened butter with about 1 cup of cupcake mix. Beat until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, then add remaining mix and water. Stir to incorporate. Add 1 tablespoon of the crushed peppermint candy to the cupcake batter. Beat on medium speed just until blended. Do not over mix. Pour into muffin cups, filling each no more than 2/3 full. Bake for 20-22 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Directions for frosting: Place frosting mix in a bowl with softened butter. Beat until smooth. Spread on cooled cupcakes. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy.
