Spicy rum adds deep flavor
Warm and spoon this luscious sauce from Stonewall Kitchen onto French vanilla ice cream for an elegant dessert. Spiced Rum Butterscotch Sauce is a buttery and rich topping for pound cake or ice cream or drizzle on homemade bread pudding and crepes filled with sautéed, sliced bananas and whipped cream.
Ingredients:
Corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, cream (milk), brown sugar, pure cane sugar, butter (milk), rum, vanilla extract, natural flavors, salt, spice, hydroxylated soy lecithin, carrageenan.
I added this to some mashed sweet potatoes & the taste was wonderful. It's a winner in my book.
