We found the recipe for this Maple Glaze while at a Maine State fair when we bought some delicious grilled chicken from one of the vendors. The sauce was so good we had to ask if they would share the recipe. "Yep," said the local Mainer, "just stirred together some good maple syrup, mustard, fresh orange juice and a little of this and that." And that's exactly what we did, in true Maine fashion. Brush generously on chicken or pork while roasting or grilling. And this Maple Glaze will add a hint of smoky sweetness to bacon, baked beans, pork chops or a brisket as well.
Ingredients:
Pure Cane Sugar, Honey, Maple Syrup, Dijon Mustard (water, mustard seed, vinegar, salt, white wine, citric acid, turmeric, tartaric acid, spices), Brown Sugar, Water, Orange Juice Concentrate, Natural Maple Flavor, Orange Peel, Salt, Gum (gum acacia, guar gum, xanthan gum), Spices, Citric Acid
