Handmade by skilled artisans at the oldest transferware factory in England, this Burleigh Platter is made in the beautiful and classic Blue Calico pattern. Unique to Burleigh, this pattern was derived from early Victorian patterns which had their roots in Chinese porcelain, representing the spring with fallen prunus blossom onto cracked ice.

Burleigh is one of the last potteries in the world to use the traditional and timeless skills of underglaze tissue printing which is a 200 year old English process done by hand. Burleigh pieces are treasured and collected worldwide.
