The Stonewall Kitchen Experience
The Stonewall Kitchen Experience!

One of the many reasons why I love Stonewall Kitchen is because it’s not just a retail store, it truly is an entire experience. I grew up right here in York, Maine, where Stonewall Kitchen is headquartered. My childhood was filled with numerous trips to their flagship store. My mother and I would spend hours walking through the store, taste-testing all the products and always driving home with a jar (or three) of the Roasted Garlic Peanut Sauce. I remember walking through the gardens when I was a kid and watching all the butterflies dance around the flowers. Later on, when I’d come home to visit during winter, I’d drive to Stonewall Kitchen and admire the beautifully enormous wreaths hanging on the barn-styled doors and the lobster trap holiday tree in the center of campus. I’d meet up with family and friends at the Stonewall Kitchen Café, indulge in my all-time favorite meal, the Classic Cobb Salad, and watch the hustle and bustle of people stocking up on their holiday shopping.
I started working for Stonewall Kitchen two years ago. The company had just celebrated its 25th Anniversary, and founders Jim and Jonathan reflected on how Stonewall Kitchen has grown from a small farm stand at local farmer’s markets, to a brand that is in kitchens worldwide. If you haven’t checked out the Our Story video, I encourage you to do so! It’s a great way to learn about the history of Stonewall Kitchen and the important emphasis on the guest experience!
We’ve grown immensely in the past four years since the welcoming of our Chief Executive Officer, John Stiker. We continue to expand at both a national and international level, we launch new products twice a year and we’ve had our first acquisition with Tillen Farms. It’s been incredibly exciting to be able to contribute to the success of this company!
One beautiful value of Stonewall Kitchen that I admire is that no matter how much we grow, the importance of the guest experience has never wavered and that’s what we want to show you in our newest video. We had a blast filming this video and we’re incredibly excited to finally share it with you!
Margaux joined the Stonewall Kitchen family two years ago as the Events and Marketing Coordinator where she flipped pancakes at the annual Pancake Breakfast and decorated pumpkins during the Halloween festivities! Margaux became Stonewall Kitchen’s Communications Specialist in February of 2018 and is loving every minute of it.
