Delicious Weeknight Dinners Made Easy

September 20, 2022 York, Maine

As the days start to get shorter but our schedules are more packed than ever, look no further for a meal plan perfect for those busy weeknights. Below, you’ll find my foolproof menu for filling and delicious dinners sure to please everyone at your table.

Monday

The perfect way to start our week, we’re whipping up a family favorite: American Chili Mac! Featuring our Traditional Marinara Sauce, you’re only a few steps away from a cozy meal. Boil a bag of our organic Maccheroni and brown up some ground beef, top with your favorite shredded cheese and voila! Easy Monday dinner. Tip: Going meatless for Monday? Sub out the ground beef for our Plant Based Red Sauce Mix. Our Italian-seasoned veggie crumble is a great way to complete a vegetarian family dinner.

(Taco) Tuesday

We’re busting out our trusty crockpot for everyone’s favorite, Taco Tuesday! We’re making Crockpot Chicken Tomatillo Tacos and we only need a handful of ingredients. Put 2-3 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts into the crockpot with chopped onion and a bottle of our Tangy Tomatillo Garlic Taco Simmer Sauce and you’re well on your way to dinnertime. I love how you can time this recipe based on your schedule: cook on low for 4-5 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours. Shred the chicken, fill some tortillas, add your toppings (I’m a guac and salsa girl myself). Done!

Wednesday

Did you put your grill away for the season already? Don’t worry, these burgers can be made right on your stovetop! We’re elevating the classic burger and fries by making Crispy Smash Burgers and some Herby Dill Roasted Potatoes, featuring our Steakhouse Style Crispy Smash Burger Mix and Herby Dill Veggie Roaster Seasoning Blend. By Wednesday, with the week in full swing, it’s important to me to be able to get a delicious dinner on the table quickly so I can actually enjoy the meal! With these simple mixes, you’ll have dinner ready in under an hour.

Thursday

Grab a napkin, because we’re having Sloppy Joes! Heat up your skillet with some oil, brown up some ground beef, and stir in a jar of our Sloppy Joe Sauce. Have a little extra time? Whip up a box of our Cornbread Mix to serve on the side. My husband loves honey butter, so when the cornbread is still hot I like to brush some on top to make the cornbread extra special. I also love to add a Lemon Dill Pickle on the side of my plate for a little crunch factor.

Friday

End of the week calls for a DIY Pizza Night. Everyone in my house likes something different, so I pick up a variety of sauces and toppings. Grab yourself a premade dough from the grocery store and get creative! Want something different? Try our Basil Pesto as your base. Are you a garlic lover? Try a white pizza using our Roasted Garlic Bread Spread. Love the classics? Pick up the Classic Pizza Sauce or our Chicago Style Classic Pizza Sauce. When you’re ready to take your pizza to the next level, kick it up a notch with our collection of Pizza Seasonings. Bake to the dough’s instructions, slice it up, and kick up your feet. It is Friday, after all!
