About chef jennifer clair
Jennifer is a culinary instructor, cookbook author and founder of Home Cooking New York, a recreational cooking school in New York City. Before launching her own school in 2002, she honed her culinary and editorial chops as a food editor at Martha Stewart Living and the recipes editor at the Wall Street Journal. She holds a degree from the Institute of Culinary Education, which she attended on a full James Beard Foundation scholarship. Jennifer is the author of Six Basic Cooking Techniques: Culinary Essentials for the Home Cook, which features methods taught in her school’s most popular cooking class.
