Stonewall Kitchen wins Outstanding Cooking Sauce or Flavor Enhancer at sofi Awards

York, Maine — On July, 11, 2011, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, award winning specialty food manufacturer Stonewall Kitchen won Outstanding Cooking Sauce or Flavor Enhancer at the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade's (NASFT) annual Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation (sofi) Awards.

Recognized for its Roasted Peach Whiskey Sauce, this is the 14th sofi Award Stonewall Kitchen has earned. In conjunction with the competition, the company also participated as an exhibitor at the NASFT's annual Summer Fancy Food Show.

"We're beyond pleased to receive the Gold award," said Natalie King, Executive Vice President. "It's our 20th anniversary and a wonderful achievement to pair with our celebration. We're delighted to share our passion and dedication with fellow industry members."

The 20th Anniversary Celebration began in January 2010 with the introduction of a new celebratory jam – Wild Maine Blueberry Champagne. The celebration continues throughout the summer of 2011 with a variety of special projects and events.
