2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (We found the pre-shredded, store bought kind works best)
For Filling:
1-2 pounds Protein of your choice (Chicken, ground beef, steak, ground pork - tofu works well, too!)
1.5 cups Urban Accents Taco Sauce
Your favorite taco toppings (Veggies, cilantro, onion, cabbage, green onion, sour cream - if you can dream it, you can taco it!)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 ° F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray.
Spread approximately 1/4 cup of shredded cheese into four circles on each sheet. Circles should be about 4-5 inches in diameter. Be sure to spread the cheese evenly.
Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes. Watch closely toward the end and pull them out as the edges begin to brown. While circles are baking, set up two upside down mugs or glasses (best if matching or same height) with a wooden spoon propped across like a bridge.
Let the circles cool on the sheet for 1-2 minutes until just cool enough to handle. Working quickly, drape the still-pliable cheese circles over the wooden spoon to shape. Once firmly set in taco shell shape, remove and replace with another circle. Shells will stay fresh and delicious while you finish the rest of your taco preparation.
Brown your protein in a skillet over medium high heat and add any Urban Accents Global Taco Sauce and continue cooking for a 4-6 minutes to let sauce thicken. Serve immediately with your cheese shells and your favorite taco toppings!
